I saw the first part of this cheesefest on the Scifi Channel while I was waiting to go see Sin City today. It's definitely a must see movie for those of you who love god awful cliche filled post-apocalyptic flicks.

It's about a "prince" (of sorts) named Ryan Cawdor who roams the deathlands like a nomad after being exiled from his "vill" (village) by his evil older brother. When I was leaving the house, Ryan was about to return to his vill and reclaim his worthless crown. I can't wait to see the entire film.

BTW, here's what I learned from this movie: in the future, almost all words will be shortened for no actual reason.
vill = village
canni = cannibal
muti = mutant
stupi = stupid
(No, that last one isn't a joke about the movie. Someone did say "stupi").

Caught the opening of this before going to sleep this morning, didn't quite hold my interest.

When will writers learn that inventing slang, especially in scifi, can backfire horribly if it sounds stupid or phony to the viewer or becomes a distraction?

Oh, so THATS what that was. I kept wondering if Ryan was related to Snake Plisskin.

"Aggressivlly eccentric, and proud of it!"
