The ISLAND OF THE BURNING DOOM was not one of Christopher Lee's or Peter Cushings better movies. Its about this happenning on this island off the coast of England. The Island keeps getting hotter during the winter. Eventually the tempature climbs to 108 and Peter Cushings character is still wearing a jacket that is sweating bullets during the heat. He is even carring a hat around during this heatwave. Its very hard not to notice this odd behavior. Everyone in the film has these giant sweat areas on their clothing and Cushing is still wearing this jacket and carring this hat. Really wacky, I guess they thought Cushing just looked better wearing a jacket on film.

Besides this oddity, the heat is caused by an alien that resembles one of those lava rocks in Star Trek.

Another wacky thing is Christopher Lee in one scene is developing film and the other main character knocks on the door repeatedly and Lee's character simply can't tell the person knot to come in, so the guy breaks down the door, then Lee gets upset with him for ruining the photos he was developing. \

This film has a number of nonsensical scenes in it.
