I encourage this bad trend in film making......sorry folks. XD It looks better then anything Wild Eye Releasing or The Asylum put out.

The reaction of the audience was worth the price of admission.

I am not sure if I'll watch this one or not, but I will be interested in how it performs at the box office compared to the first one.

The horror boards I've on have some... very mixed reviews.

Still have not watched this one, but I did have a look at how much it had brought in. The original made $7.7 million based on a $100,000 budget and the sequel managed $7.6 million on a $500,000 budget. To me that suggests that the movie is appealing to very specialised section of the market (no surprise there), and it might have a cap on how successful such movies can be (barring the creation of a surprise blockbuster). I would imagine that is still enough money for their expanded universe ideas to go ahead, even taking the higher budget and inflation between the two movies into account.

I wonder if somewhere down the line it will get a crossover with Terrifier?

Terrifier is ending on the fourth film according to the director/writer, so probably not.  Also, I'm hesitant to say this as I'm not really a big fan of Terrifier and think the first one in particular is very rough at points...  But Terrifier has WAY more craft, care and skill put into it than these cash grabs, no matter what else you say about them.  These Blood & Honey movies are terrible.  Well, the first one is, what I watched of it.  It's like, embarrassing.  I suspect Damien Leone wouldn't sully the Terrifier name with these, it would only hurt his film's reputation (which includes like the ONLY new horror villain that's caught on in the past decade) and his own rep by proxy.

I am old enough to remember Friday the 13th pt 4 being advertised as the final Friday, so while I'd heard he ending the series, I'll wait and see on that one. I do agree with Blood & Honey being terrible (not watched the second one). Depending on who owns rights etc, such decisions may not come down to the director though (I honestly have no idea if he owns the franchise by himself or not, or even if he does if money would convince him to keep going).
