Coronation Street As Torment

OK, I do this thing where sometimes when I am running on the treadmill or riding my exercise bike (as I insist on calling it just to irk the manufacturer) I turn on Coronation Street. It works oddly well for that purpose since it is just enough to take my attention and make time pass, but not so engrossing as to be distracting and make me fall and break my nose.

Thing is I keep catching episodes that end with something that interests me and I never get back to the show to find out what happened. (Don't want to risk addiction to a soap opera.)

Thus is find myself sometimes wondering: whatever happened to those teenage girls who hit the old-age pensioner named Ted?

What was the story behind the gender reveal party where the balloon in the box didn't come up pink or blue, but white with writing on it that named someone other than the pregnant woman's husband as father of her baby?

Addiction versus knowledge. Bitter choice!

(Also that cat that leaps off the roof in the opening credits must be ancient after sixty-three years. And I had a duh moment realizing the pigeons that fly off are fleeing the cat. See what I mean? The show is a puzzle box of interconnected marvels and wonders that Eastenders could only dream of being....)
What does not kill me makes me stranger.

As a child I hated soap operas like this one.

Nothing has changed in that respect.

Watch anything else, hell even porn has better acting.  :twirl:
