Little House on the Prairie

Only the pilot movie is set on the prairie; the rest are on plumb creek. Going by Wikipedia, the series only adapts the general concept of the books, not the plots.

It's good, even if it is corny melodramatic stuff.

Deadly Wives on tubi. I was watching some of the crime shows and found I wanted to see more with female antagonists, so I'm glad to have found it.

"Icons Unearthed: James Bond"
This 6-episode installment of the VICE-TV series (now streaming on Amazon Prime) takes a deep dive into the history of the 007 franchise, following the super spy's jump from Ian Fleming's novels to the silver screen, and examines the effects the Bond character has had on filmmaking, music, advertising, and fashion throughout the years. Lots of cool behind-the-scenes clips and interviews make this a treasure trove of trivia for Bond nerds. Neat stuff.

We watched season 2 of Arcane in about a day or so.  It's solid, visually really good.  Think it bites off more than it can chew though, feels like it covers two seasons of material in one and suffers for it.  Still worth a watch.

Finished "Demon Slayer" and took up "Blue Eye Samurai" (On Netflix). Really impressive first episode. It's made by Americans, so despite being set in Japan the storytelling is in a more familiar style. It's set in 17th Century Japan and about a Eurasian woman who poses as a man, becomes a great swordfighter, and seeks revenge: against all four of the European men who may have been her father. The Japanese of the time were exceptionally racist against all non-Japanese, and having blue eyes makes everyone consider her a monster, so she has to hide them as best she can. The animation is stunning, the feel is epic, and it's very R-rated with violence and nudity. Highly recommended based on the first episode.
