A video review (not be me but posted on my channel) of Boom! (1968), an intriguing bad art movie I hadn't heard of before.


The great Joseph Losey directs the great Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor in an adaptation of a play by the great Tennessee Williams, and somehow everything goes "Boom!" And what's the deal with the Easter Island statues on a Mediterranean island? Seriously, does anybody know? Review by "Penguin" Pete Trbovich, narrated by Giles Edwards.

I saw this years ago Rev: when a film has Dame Elizabeth Taylor saying things like "s**t on your mother", Richard Burton as the Angel of Death and Sir Noel Coward as "The Witch of Capri", you're in for a tough ride. All those statues: I believe Flora Goforth was meant to be living in an art gallery

Adapted from the oddly titled Tennessee Williams play The Milk Train Doesn't Stop Here Anymore. Like a lot of Taylor's post-Cleopatra movies, it was a box office flop.
