I have always said since Jan. 6 that Trump should be disqualified under the the rule of the 14th amendment, enacted after the Civil War. And now, finally, if he is found guitly in DC or Fulton County- he will be.

Took my friend's dad to lunch for his birthday the other day and he told me a story about going to Europe with friends fifty years ago, and how one of the friends said he was going to stay in Europe and get around with no money. He actually pulled it off to some extent, with a combination of doing day jobs, panhandling, and admitting to locals he was a broke American, which ended up with him getting free meals and a sofa to sleep on a surprising number of times. He bummed around western Europe that way for almost four months past when his friends went home.

My random thought is I wonder if it'd still be possible to do something like that today, or have times changed too drastically?
