Quote from: Alex on October 04, 2024, 06:43:42 AMDecided to give the Terrifier movies a go. Searched for them online and discovered the first one wasn't available for free on any of the streaming services we have. The momentary slight wish to watch them then passed.

I heard that someone threw up after seeing the new one 😳

omg it's The Exorcist all over again!

Either that or just a publicity stunt  :teddyr:

Seven.

Seven is the most common number rolled on two, regular 6-sided dice.

^ Maybe that's why they use 7 as both winner or loser when you shoot dice.

On a properly designed six sided dice, the dots on opposite sides should always add up to 7. I have no idea who decided that this was the correct design.

When the makers of the B-Movie "Slithis" (1978) submitted their movie to the MPA, they were hoping for a PG rating. However, they received an R rating, so they edited out a few bloody scenes and got a PG rating. After that, they added back the edited scenes and released the film to theaters.

They said they did it because the MPA never check films again after giving it a rating. Makes me wonder how many filmmakers in the 1970s used this cheat because lots of PG rated 1970s movies are quite bloody.

I'll assume that JAWS did not try this trick as it's such a big film, however I cannot understand how it got a PG?! It's bloodier than half the giallos I've seen, all of which got an 18 slapped on them like clockwork

QuoteRated in 1975, the film received a PG. The movie includes graphic shots of severed limbs and one victim who is explicitly consumed by the shark. And thanks to higher resolution of DVD and Blu-ray, all the details are sharper, including the silhouette of the skinny-dipper who provided the first bait.

Parents should remember Jaws' premise is to create entertainment from watching humans being chewed to death.

Gangs Of New York as far as I know.

Regarding Blood Diamond, that accent is like having your gentlemens area stapled together 😳😳😳

Something is going around my work since a few people are sick, including me. I think the change in the weather is playing a huge part in that, but I'm not sure.
yeah no.
