Do Anything for Black Friday?

You couldn't catch me dead in a department store today, so I went out with my friend Joe to an abandoned gravel ramp in the middle of nowhere and accessed the river at a spot that the horde of fossil and artifact collectors had not been recently.  We found some points, several neat pieces of fossilized bone, and he found one big slab of matrix that had all kinds of fossilized teeth eroding out of it!  We had a really good day, the weather was fine, and the only other person we saw was a young man hunting wild pigs (we saw lots of their tracks but no actual pigs).
A fine way to spend the day!

Got up early (for me) and went shopping with mom after some Carl's Jr. breakfast.  The jeans sales weren't nearly what they should have been but got some new pants anyway.  Then napped for a few hours or so in the afternoon.  Just made some vanilla pudding and washed dishes; gonna screw off in front of the computer for the rest of the day.

Ordered the cheapest set of PC speakers available in the US only on eBay & for the umtheenth time, changed my notification sound from the post office on my cell phone.........
My phone keeps changing it back for some reason.........

took strangely to the vet and got her stitches out, came home  and zombied. oh, and ate yeast rolls and salted butter.

Under no circumstances do I go to stores on black Friday.
