SUPER TREK BROS. (my stopmotion short)

well, ive made a stopmotion video. Ive always been fascinated by stop motion and animation, im a bit of a cartoon freak. i will eventually get into animation, but because of time constraints im trying stop motion. its a little easier so i can just jump right into it. first of all i have to point out the obvious, that this video is crap. I know, its ok, it was kind of my intention. I really wanted to combine something popular. in this case: STAR TREK and SUPER MARIO BROS.  Believe it or not, I actually put in some effort with this video and learned alot in the process, especially about pre-production. there are some problems with the audio and the video is a little choppy. ive redone this video 3 times, im a perfectionist so this thing drives me crazy because it is in no way perfect. i finally settled on this version because it was the best take. so please, feel free to critique or roast. I will eventually continue this story. This is meant to be stoopid silly fun. enjoy.

If that is the clip the only suggestion I'd make is to clean up the audio a bit/re-record. The beauty of animation is you can totally re-do audio when you want to and it doesn't effect much! I had a great tip once from a filmmaker in that you can always forgive bad video but bad audio makes it really hard to enjoy something and badly recorded audio can really make it hard to follow things.

yes, this is the video. thanks for posting it and the advice. how do you post youtube videos? the audio is pretty bad, I had way better audio on the other versions, but eventually got frustrated with the program i was using (Honestech stopmotion 4.0) and left it as it is. I think that I was a little more focused on making commander rikars scanner beeps really annoying and cheesy. I may continue the story. Ill probably focus a little more on the animation of the characters next time. I have big plans for picard. would you like to see more???

Forgive me if you're already been told this, buut... on Youtube, click Share, copy the link they give ya, and then in a Badmovies post click the "Insert hyperlink" button (third button on the second row, looks like a globe) paste the link in between the "http://youtu.be/Tvh44vYn7Cg.]" things, and, finally, edit out the "s" in the "https".  For some reason, the posts don't work on this work if the "s" is still there.
