Sweet shape-changing mother of political satire pain!  Dean Stockwell stars as a White House Press Secretary whose werewolf alter ego likes to gnaw on the drunken, stout wives of Supreme Court nominees.

I'm sure Doggett will be pleased  :teddyr:
yeah no.

Tom Eldridge

It would have been priceless to see him humping a nuclear weapon.

This is one those films that I had heard about for years, folks wrote about it. But it seemed that no one had actually seen it. So I was beginning to wonder if it actually existed. Who knows, maybe it shouldn't have?

I have Netflix's direct-to-PC service and one of Elvira's Creature Features to thank for "enjoying" this cinematic apocalypse. It's actually not that bad, simply because it's so ridiculously bad that it's a blast.

I was really waiting for him to hump a car to death, though.

Andy Davis

Ok, have to admit I have this film and I actually like it. Don't get me wrong it is bad. But, it is also sort of a guilty pleasure.

What a review.  That sounds like one of the worst werewolf movies around.  Interestingly, I have this film because I bought the Horror Classic (How does that movie even classify for 'classic'?) 100 Movie Pack.

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

Some people seem to like it, but for others its rather torturous.  I'm part of the latter group.

That would have been out of character for the film.  This, however, might have fit in:

Come to think of it, the werewolf humping a car would have fit in perfectly if the car was a presidential limousine with American flags on it and everything.

Wasn't there a movie called "A werewolf in London"? Seeing the title i thought it was a spoof.

Certainly is:  An American Werewolf in London (1981).  "The Werewolf of Washington" was made in 1973.

There was also a "Werewolf in London" from 1935.  I kind of doubt "Werewolf in Washington" was trying to play off a title that old and relatively obscure, though.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

Apparently, as dim as this film is, there is an even dimmer one called "Werewolf of Woodstock", which was shot on the same ground as the Woodstock music festival, by the same people.  This is apprentley very hard to fnd now.

I have no idea what this means.

This page is a howl, so to speak.  I now feel like I know all I need to about the movie without actually seeing it, but if anyone wants to see it tomorrow night at the Alternative Cafe in Monterey, CA, it's playing at 8.
