Good Lord, makes us work for this.

ARENA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think my eyes are bleeding again....

Hey, I like "Arena."  I reviewed it a few years back.  I think that the young hero, while not a great actor, did a good job in the part.  Creating "Rocky" in space, with aliens and cyborgs, was a neat hook.

It's unfortunate that "Arena" is not out on DVD yet.  That's true of quite a few of the films that came out of Charles Band's Empire Pictures.  "Eliminators," "Zone Troopers," and "TerrorVision" are three more that jump to mind.

I have to admit that ARENA is one I've always wanted to see.  I know the trailer probably makes it look better than it is but the make-up doesn't look half bad.  I can't believe this never made it to DVD when Babylon 5 and the Star Trek franchises were active and is still not on DVD.  Sci-Fi fans would have gobbled this up!

Youthful?  Haven't had that phrase leveled at me in, well, years.

Lemme see what we have....  Ooh, this looks good.

Javakoala

Here's a couple of hints:

1.  It is in black and white. No, really, it is.

2.  It's British.

Hope that helps!   :twirl: :tongueout: :twirl: :tongueout: :twirl: :tongueout: :twirl:

Well, it certainly looks familiar. Black and white and British?

It was either that or yodeling.  Had to fit the pattern you see.

Carry On Murdering on the Orient Express?

:bouncegiggle:

Uhm. . .

Is it based on a work by Agatha Christie?

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

Javakoala

Strikes all around.

It is a sci-fi-/horror movie. More sci-fi, but NOT Doctor Who-The Decolorized Years.

Not the right one, but thanks for turning me on to ANOTHER danged film I want to see. At this rate, I'm gonna have to live to 197 to watch all of these movies.

To give you fans of movie trailers a leg up, this shot is in the trailer for this film, and it's one of the less bizarre shots in that trailer, if you can believe it.

And the movie itself is fairly short. If that helps any.   :teddyr:

Wow, that was some wild guess, but unfortunately, YOU ARE CORRECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tag, you're it.

By the way, the run time on this film is a mere 62 minutes...but it sure seems longer.

Rev. Powell

All I knew about it was it was British, sci-fi, in B&W, and had a reputation for being bizarre (and a super-cool name).  What are the chances it would be THE one??

OK, here's my offering:

As usual, I have no idea if it's super-easy or super-difficult...  probably super-easy.
