I forgot to mention although i may catch flack for it, Smashing Pumpkins.  A good part of it is because I can't stand Billy Corgan.

I'm with you on this one, I can't stand Smashing Pumpkins.  :hatred:

At my freshman year in college, I got stuck with a room-mate that worshipped Smashing Pumpkins, it about drove me f'n nuts!!! I went out and bought a CD alarm clock just so I could wake her every morning at 6am to Brutal Truth's "I killed my Family" as pay back for all those late nites I had to listen to Billy Corgan screeching....for some reason after the semester was over, she asked for a dorm transfer... :teddyr:

I don't mind Smashing Pumpkins (pre Zeitgeist), but I think Billy Corgan is my least favorite of the band.  Reforming without James Iha was also a mistake.

Wow!  :buggedout: That's quite a bold and shocking statement. They created heavy metal as an entire genre! Have you heard them when they're fronted by Ronnie James Dio?

A party of lassies on a hen night could probably have put together something better during a karaoke session!  :buggedout:
There are few things more beautiful than a sporting montage with a soft-rock soundtrack

2) Kid Rock- I know Triumph already said this about Justin Timberlake, but I'll recycle it anyway: "Is he rapping?  Is he rocking?  He doesn't know what to suck at."  Kid Rock's music changes sounds with every album, and every one still sounds like ass.  There a few okay songs, but beyond that it all sounds like it should be on a CD called "The Best of the Trailer Park."

9) Limp Bizkit- I liked a few of their songs.  $3 Bill is still a decent album, before Fred Durst's ego inflated.  After that, they went downhill.  Their music was reduced to lousy catch phrases with awful riffs and haphazard lyrics written around them.
I get a lot of flack for liking Kid Rock.  His albums are, for the most part, pretty damn good.  He's got some decent songs.

As for Bizkit, Borland was the best member of all of them.  Once he left, they really blew.

You mean they really blew more after he left.  :teddyr:

Well I know I do have a tendency to like many bands/singers a lot of other people hate: THE CURE, THE CULT, COLDPLAY, NICKELBACK, U2, R.E.M. (my favourite), CYNDI LAUPER, BLONDIE, even a bit of AQUA, DEEE-LITE and SPICE GIRLS. That said, I cannot stand the following:

1. BACKSTREET BOYS
2. BOYZ II MEN
3. CELENE DION
4. N SYNC
5. SHANIA TWAIN
6. GARTH BROOKS
7. DAVE MATTHEWS BAND
8. STAIND
9. KORN
10. WHITNEY HOUSTON

Love you Circus Circus, but good for Doggett.  I've thought they were overrated for a long time.

Mr. DS

I look at Sabbath as I look at the Beatles. Highly influential and I give them tons of respect.  However, their music is something not in my regular rotation.  Gasp all you want metal friends.
