BRIDES OF BLOOD (1968) - One of the Blood Collection from the Philippines and directed by Eddie Romero and Gerardo de Leon.  The people of the island sacrifice the young women on Blood Island because of a rubber suited monster that attacks at night. Not only does this monster come out, but the whole jungle comes alive as tree roots also attack the people on the island. One scene has a small butterfly attacking an American researcher. Not bad and I kinda enjoyed viewing this one. The DVD has some nice extras also. Saw one other of the Blood Collection directed by the same people called BLOOD OF THE VAMPIRES which was also entertaining.
