I believe there are six writers credited on the new MOTU. At least some of them seem to know what they are doing but there are lines and moments that are discordant and feel very much like Too Many Cooks seasoning the broth. It was definitely a situation where they threw everything against the wall and hoped something would stick.

Yeah I mean I am not knocking the writers for Masters of the Universe. I am glad that there is employment for these people. Especially in this economy, it is great I guess — I would rather them working on this than I guess doing something else.

Good analogy about the Broth. You are making me hungry now. I guess I really don't sweat this stuff anymore. I have gotten to where — if a movie is 25 percent watchable then I can literally create the other part of it. Almost like CRISPR gene editing. Of course me doing that hurts the rewatch ability of it. But hey alls fair in love and war. It is like when I saw C. Thomas Howell recently at some theatre talking about himself and his movies. And someone asked him about Gettysburg. She said she was a teacher and that she showed Gettysburg to her class. And C Thomas Howell said, "Oh YOU Poor thing!! That..Uh..That is like over three hours long!" I'm like dude, Gettysburg may actually be your best movie. I wonder what is going on in these people's heads. Like maybe it is something worse than a broth and perhaps there such a thing as too much motivation. Maybe there is some truth to these theories about how these people are trying to erect the Tower of Babel again..I sort of miss the good old days when the discussion was about too much violence in movies. Now the discussion is about how we have to be the Missionaries for hollywood because they care more about private investment than telling a story.
