The latest in Sony's strange attempt at doing a Spider Man cinematic universe without Spider Man.

It was okay.  I liked some of the action, but a lot of the CGI was questionable.  Some of you may have seen the pictures of what The Rhino looks like.  It reminded me of the Thing from the first Fantastic Four movies.  Really wish they had used a suit, because it actually would have looked good if it was a physical prop.

Other than that, basic anti-hero story.  Set up for future projects that may or not come eventually
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

Thanks for watching this so I can skip it for a year and a half or forever. (I don't teach that Superhero Cinema college class anymore, so, no need to break a sweat or abuse myself needlessly.) I wouldn't mind seeing Michael Keaton's Vulture again (per the post-credits scene of MORBIUS, yech) but until he turns up, I'm in no hurry...

They won't.

After this, Morbius, and Madame Web all majorly under-performed Sony made a statement that they're giving up the spin-offs for now and putting their actual attention in the main Spider-man series.

I just find the idea of a Spider Man universe of movies without, you know...Spider-Man in it incredibly weird.

Don't get too close, it's dark inside.

I had no idea this film was part of Sony's Spidermanless Spider cinematic universe
Kubrick, Nolan, Tarantino, Wan, Iñárritu, Scorsese, Chaplin, Abrams, Wes Anderson, Gilliam, Kurosawa, Villeneuve - the elite
