As a kid, we had a 'lights' off at a certain time, and I had a small transistor radio and tiny earphones, and there was some AM radio station that would play old broadcasts like Suspense! The Shadow, Inner Sanctum, Jack Benny, Fibber McGee and Molly, and such. I enjoyed it very much.
