Two horror films

Can't remember one and don't think I've ever seen the other but gf brought it up.

The first one is about goblins or trolls. I think I saw the sequel. Kid and his family move to new town. Get there and there is all this green colored food on the table (meant to transform them) time gets paused and the kid p**ses on the food to get them to not eat it.

Second one gf said they have these kids in a factory with green masks on that shows them some show and their heads explode. Any answers?
