My daughter and I just finished watching this bizarre "found footage" horror film, and I must say I was VERY impressed!
The setup is a tad long, and there are a couple of points that strain credibility a bit.  But if you can buy into the opening premise, the film
suddenly becomes engrossing, sucking you in for a truly wild experience.

Scott and Penny are a young married couple who decide to take a year off from their busy lives in the city to move to a remote cabin in the mountains, where Scott  will film a nature documentary while they try to repair their relationship.
But then they realize they are not alone on the mountain.  After a strange figure in black steals Scott's back pack, he and Penny follow the intruder to another cabin on the other side of the mountain.  There they discover a series of bizarre, scare-crow like sculptures, some complete and some still in progress.  Penny, an art student, immediately recognizes them as the work of the elusive "Mr. Jones," who has mailed these disturbing masterpieces to art galleries and private individuals all over the world since the 1970's.  His true name is unknown, as is his address.
Excited by the prospect of filming a documentary on this semi-legendary artist, Scott goes back to NYC to interview everyone he can who knows anything about the mysterious sculptor and his works, while Penny stays at the cabin and shoots footage of the scarecrows that seem to be springing up everywhere around their cabin now.
Who is Mr. Jones?  What does he want? Is he evil or not?  I would say watch the film for the answers, but frankly I just watched it and I'm still not sure.  But I will say this movie was DEFINITELY worth the rental!!
