Fright Night (1985) directed by Tom Holland- For young Charlie Brewster, nothing could be better than an old horror movie late at night. Two men move in next door, and for Charlie with his horror movie experience, there can be no doubt that their strange behavior is explained by the fact that they are a vampire and his undead day guardian. The only one who can help him hunt them down is a washed-up actor, Peter Vincent, who hosts Charlie's favorite TV show, Fright Night. Vincent doesn't really believe that vampires exist, but does it for the money...

The Lost Boys (1987) directed by Joel Schumacher– A mother and her two sons move to a small coast town in California. The town is plagued by bikers and some mysterious deaths. From Dusk Till Dawn 3: The Hangman's Daughter (2000) directed by P.J. Pesce - "Prequel" to the first From Dusk Till Dawn is set in Mexico in the early 1900's which begins with the escape of Johnny Madrid, a dangerous local outlaw, from the gallows who then kidnaps his hangman's beautiful daughter, Esmeralda.  Starring:  Rebecca Gayheart and Orlando Jones.

Blacula (1972) directed by William Crain- Interior decorators buy the coffin of an African prince bitten by Dracula centuries before and bring it back to Los Angeles. The African prince starts feeding his hunger while following a woman who looks like his departed wife.

Scream Blacula Scream (1973) directed by Bob Kelljan - After a dying Voodoo queen chooses an adopted apprentice as her successor, her true heir is outraged. Seeking revenge, he buys the bones of Blacula the vampire off of a dealer, and uses voodoo to bring the vampire back to do his bidding. In turn, Blacula turns him into a vampire and makes him his slave. Meanwhile, a police officer with a large collection of African antiques and an interest in the occult investigates the murders caused by Blacula and his vampire horde.  Starring: Pam Grier.

Dracula (1931) directed by Tod Browning- The famous vampire tale featuring Bela Lugosi as Count Dracula is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year!

House of Dracula (1945) directed by Erle C. Kenton - Dracula arrives at Dr. Edelman's office asking for a cure to his vampirism. However, this is a ruse by Dracula to get near Dr. Edelman's beautiful female assistant and turn her into a vampire. Meanwhile, a sincere Lawrence Talbot, AKA the Wolfman, arrives seeking a cure for his lycanthropy. When Dr. Edelman's first attempt fails, Talbot tries to commit suicide by jumping off a cliff, but instead finds a network of underground caves where Frankensteins Monster is in stasis. Chaos ensues as the three monsters fight for dominance of each other.

VOOM'S MONSTERS HD SLASHES INTO THE HOLIDAY SEASON WITH "THE HALLOWEEN BEFORE CHRISTMAS" MOVIE MARATHON

Tune into Monsters HD on December 24 at 6pm ET for

All Five HALLOWEEN Films Completely Re-mastered in High Definition

NEW YORK, December 4, 2006 –   Instead of battling the crowds for a last minute gift at the mall, stay home, start a fire and get into the holiday spirit with VOOM's MONSTERS HD "The Halloween Before Christmas" movie marathon.  Beginning Sunday, December 24 at 6pm ET, MONSTERS HD will play all five legendary HALLOWEEN films back to back and digitally re-mastered in high-definition.

The HALLOWEEN film franchise has been one of the most influential in horror movie history and made the Michael Myers character so well-known, that he has been routinely spoofed in comedies.  Created by John Carpenter and Debra Hill back in 1978, the series spawned what would come to be known as the "Slasher" sub-genre of horror movies that dominated the 1980s.  The HALLOWEEN tradition continues even today, as HALLOWEEN (2007) also known as Untitled Rob Zombie Halloween Project, directed by Rob Zombie, is in pre-production.

Films to Include:

Halloween (1978) directed by John Carpenter- Michael Myers has been in an institution since he was a young boy, after murdering his sister. Now he's escaped and is heading back home to terrorize the quiet community which still remembers him.  Starring Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode.

Halloween II (1981) directed by Rick Rosenthal- It's the same night as the original Halloween. Michael Myers is around the neighborhood, after being gunned by Dr.Loomis six times. Now, he's in a hospital where the girl Laurie Strode was taken. And there's a reason why Michael is after her... Starring Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode.

Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982) directed by Tommy Lee Wallace – his sequel has a plot that is unrelated to the earlier movies of the same name. In this horror story, a large Halloween mask making company has plans to kill millions of American children with deadly masks.

Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988) directed by Dwight H. Little– Following on from Halloween II, Michael Myers escapes from Richmond Mental Institute whilst being transferred, this time going after his niece, Jamie Lloyd. Doctor Loomis follows him back to Haddonfield, and attempts to stop him once and for all.

Halloween 5 (1989) directed by Dominique Othenin-Girard  - It's one year since Halloween 4, and Michael survives being shot by the police. He continues his search for his niece, who is in a children's' hospital.
